Matthew Roazen
Matthew graduated from Temple University's Beasley School of Law cum laude in 1993 where he was an Associate Research Editor for the Temple Law Review. Prior to getting his J.D., Matthew received a B.A. from Haverford College and an M.A. from Bryn Mawr College, both in Russian.

Professional Background
Beginning his career as possibly the first American associate in a Russian law firm, Mr. Roazen spent several decades in Moscow and London practicing law for clients based around the world, both in-house (with firms as diverse as private equity funds, banks, and energy companies) and in private practice including as a partner at Akin Gump. In addition to negotiating and documenting transactions with dollar values in the billions, he has also overseen and assisted in litigation for up to the same amount.
For the last ten years, Matthew has been advising private clients on a wide variety of matters related to US law, where he uses his wide-ranging experience to provide advice and support across several areas of law including immigration, trade, M&A, corporate finance, family and inheritance, commercial, and general disputes law. With respect to industry experience, his primary specialty is TMT (including software, fintech, blockchain, entertainment, and video gaming) but he routinely advises on transactions involving real estate, manufacturing, FMCG, hospitality, finance, and retailing.
In addition to his professional practice, he has taught courses such as M&A Law and Legal Issues in the Creative Industries at institutions ranging from the Pericles-ABLE Law Project in Moscow, Russia to Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, Florida. In addition to English, Mr. Roazen is fluent in spoken and written Russian.
He is admitted to the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Tribal Courts of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
